| Is there a new Fiery Furnaces record due out any time soon? I really enjoyed Blueberry Boat and the record about their dead grandmother. That is the sort of thing I would enjoy listening to in 2008. | |

| They have made albums since those. Their 2008 release is double live.
Ah, the days when a 25 year old Damo Suzuki had his world rocked when he realized that "Blueberry Boat" was about pirates. Beautiful times.

| Don't care for live music. Would rather listen to a sprawling conceptual album. It is alright though. Still got my Blueberry Boat. | |

| I have not heard their studio albums since then.
However, I have written them off.

| Not saying that they won't appeal to those who appreciate the sprawling conceptual quality of Blueberry Boat. | |

| Fiery Furnaces are a quite brilliant band. You should probably check out their 2007 release, Widow City. It ranked in the top 20 on my 2007 list.
2007 was a stellar year for music.

| 'Worry, Worry' is such a great song. When I heard that, I thought, "That's where Rock-n-Roll should be in the new millennium."
Eleanor wears great clothes too. Icing on the cake.

| Whoa, in searching for pix of Eleanor, I discovered that Brooklyn Vegan has been direct linking tons of my original magazine scans from my Comcast account back in 2005.
They aren't directly named, the guys had to have been reading Somb and caught my posts. Eh, I don't care. The point was to make them more visible.

| I am not a fan of this band. The Gran did the right thing. | |

| I have bitter tea but not unlike the love of moby. I just don't get the appeal. perhaps I should try blueberry or give bt another spin. first caught on cause of a single but was terribly disappointed in the outcome of the album. they failed where elefant succeeded and I still love the early decemberist material despite the newer npr/starbucky/soccer mom appeal. | |
