| Goddamn I love spring. Unfortunately spending all day indoors working and all night indoors playing cards though. | |

Skipping out of work work two hours early and going to Boston for the weekend.

Skipping out of work work two hours early and going to Boston for the weekend. Boston was warm, and only drizzled a little. Walked around the entire city, bought 2 great sweaters, had a few great meals, and Chinatown bus made it back almost an hour early.

| Boston is a pretty great city. Enjoyed the time I spent there.
People drive like goddamn maniacs in that city though.

| Parts of Boston are wonderful, but it is full of freaks. It's sort of unsettling actually, and immediately noticeable, how many rude, in-your-face weirdos there are.
Love Brookline, Somerville, the North End, parts of Cambridge, and the nice parts of Fenway around Northeastern.
It's a place I'd like to settle in, if I had a career and/or family, but not the kind of city to "find yourself" in.

| My girlfriend is from Northend. Almost Charlestown. We spent most of our time in and around that area when visiting her folks.
On my own, I mostly been around Boston proper, Columbus and Cambridge. West of Cam' was a bit too "country" for my tastes.

| And no, my girlfriend doesn't have the ridiculous Boston accent. Well, sometimes she does. But mostly, she talks like a normal human being.
Think people from New Jersey, Louisiana and Alabama are the only Americans left with distinct accents.
